Under the direction of Eva Bertram, lecturer at the New School of Photography and UDK Berlin, participants will work regularly over a period of nine months on personal, self-chosen photo projects within the field of narrative subjective photography.
The motto “apparently inconspicuous”, about that which is obvious but so easily overlooked, describes the spirit of Eva Bertram’s workshop. Through joint image discussions, it becomes clear how strongly image perception and interpretation depend on our own experiences and viewing habits and how we question and communicate them.
Throughout the course, Eva Bertram provides personalized support in contextualizing your work, reducing it to its essence, and finding the most suitable form of presentation.
The free class has existed since 2013 and is now offered in two groups due to high demand.
From February 29 to April 19, 2020, selected results of the free class 2018/2019 will be exhibited in the gallery of the New School of Photography under the title “REIZ”.
